Introduction

I am going to start recording and graphing crime statistics. It seems that every single day I hear about a murder, an attack, a severe car accident, etc. in Ottawa.  Most of them seem to take place in the East end of town.  I am concentrating on the Ottawa area only, leaving out anything in the countryside or across the river in Gatineau.
